Welcome to the Nightfall-25 Discussion Forum! Here is where fans of Nightfall can discuss the series, ask questions about various episodes, make suggestions for improving the site or fixing problems, even talk about other favorite sci-fi/fantasy/horror radio series. There may even be an occasional visit by one or more of the folks involved in making the show!

There are only a few guidelines for using this forum, but it is very important that they be followed:

Out of respect for the artists who worked on Nightfall (some of whom may actually be participating here), please DO NOT post information on how to obtain non-commercial copies of the series. This includes links to MP3 download sites, binaries newsgroups, IRC servers, on-line OTR (Old Time Radio) sales sites, BitTorrent services, Internet radio stations, eBay auctions or any similar source. Despite claims made by many of the people connected to these sources, Nightfall is NOT in the Public Domain. Canadian copyright law bestowes ownership rights for up to 50 years after a work’s creation. Standard CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation) contracts guarantee all artists involved in making a program payments whenever their shows are aired or sold commercially. This includes the scriptwriter, actors, and composers of original music. These artists don't make the kind of money their U.S. counterparts do and rely on these regulations and contracts to protect their work and guarantee some kind of income (for more information, view CBC's Radio Licensing page). Posts that violate this policy will be removed. Persistent posters will be banned from participation in the forum.

NOTE: It is, of course, acceptable to post information regarding the sale or availability of commercial Nightfall episodes, as long as you are certain that they are commercial. If you are unsure, send us a note at forums@Nightfall-25.com and we will help you make a determination.

Posts made solely for the purpose of advertising will be removed. If you've got a website or other on-line feature you'd like to plug, please submit it through our Links page. If you have legal Nightfall or other radio drama-related items to sell, please contact forums@Nightfall-25.com with the details and we will review it for posting.

Please play nice with each other. Flaming and other forms of abuse will not be tolerated in the forums. If you have a problem with someone's behaviour, do not respond to the offender. Instead, please report it to abuse@Nightfall-25.com and let the N25 staff deal with it. We ask especially that you treat any of the Nightfall people who visit this forum with respect.
