Site Updates

This page lists the updates and modifications made to the site. Frequent visitors can use it to see what changes have occurred since their last visit.

December 22nd: Noted passing of Mavor Moore, added him to Dedication page.

August 4th: Added comments from a few fans to specific episode entries.

May 1st: Updated site with current episode.

April 29th: Updated site with current episode.

April 9th: Posted apology for long delay in updates and plan to catch the site up this month.

December 20th: Adding reciprocal link for HorrorFind.com to Links page.

November 30th: Updated with episodes missed for the last three weeks. Also added Reader Comments to several episodes.

November 14th: Updated Support page with new donations total and new donor name. Added Milo Ringham to Dedication page.

November 3rd: Updated with this week's episode, and entries on "Lost" & Other Episodes page.

October 26th: Updated with episodes missed for the last six weeks.

September 20th: Updated with this week's episode (and last week's, which was missed).

September 5th: Updated with this week's episode.

September 3rd: Added reciprocal link for the Original Pulp and Dagger Fiction Webzine to the Links page.

August 29th: Updated with this week's episode.

August 22nd: Updated with this week's episode.

August 1st: Updated with this week's episode. Modified bits of Cast/Crew section of Detailed Episode template to allow more spacing between segments. Added Bill Gray as an Honourary Advisor on the Staff page. Completed detailed plot description for The Monkey's Paw.

July 24th: Updated with this week's episode. Updated minor bits of entries all ready up.

July 17th: Updated with this week's episode. Added John Granik and Aileen Seaton to the Dedication page. Added more links to the Links page.

July 14th: Added link to Graham Pomeroy's B&B website to Links page.

July 11th: Updated with current week's episode.

July 6th: Added more press releases to Press Releases page.

July 4th: Site LauncH!

July 3rd: Numerous minor changes made on several pages: links to report corrections or make additions added, repaired damage to Project FAQ page, made long-overdue change to links on LiveJournal page, created Disclaimers & Licensing Info page.

June 30th: More updates to Credits page. Put up MIssing People page. Updated intro text of News page. Moved Adaptations page to Extras section. Restructured Series navigation frames a bit to separate out subsections more.

June 28th: Support page now up. Locations page layout updated. Added more names to Credits page.

June 24th: Went through all the biography categories in the People section and added list of episode #s to each person, as well as linking to the detailed episode entry from each #. Also added names below photo placeholders and changed gender of placeholder image for those that were incorrect.

June 23rd: Added link to detailed episode entry for each episode listed in the Summary Guides. Also added line and e-mail link regarding corrections to the bottoms of several pages where data is presented and the page template does not all ready have a comment form.

June 22nd: Finally revamped the structure of the Episode Guide so that each season has its own parent frame. This allows for both a new navigation bar frame and a new content frame when selecting seasons from the navigation bar. Also wrote opening text for Episodes by Production Location page.

June 21st: Added text to Get Involved! page encouraging artists to contribue material to it.

June 20th: Dropped QuickGuide page for Welcome page with QuickGuide bar and skull with counter below.

June 19th: Added Press Releases page to the Extras section and added 6 press releases to the CBC section

June 17th: Finished the Season Three Summary Guide. Revised all navigation frames by deleting the single blank row above the link list. Allows more room at the bottom of the list for future entries.

June 15th: Finished the Season Two Summary Guide.

June 13th: Finished the Season One Summary Guide.

June 12th: Restructured the Episode Guide area. Each season now has its own navigation frame, with links to the Summary version and the Detailed version.

May 25th: Jay Hireen of CBC Vancouver added to Dedication page.

April 28th: Updated links and added a few more to the Links page.

April 25th: Added comment forms to all Biography pages. Continued work on the episode quick guides.

April 23rd: Created and uploaded Episodes by Production Location page.

April 20th: Revised biography template for the fifth time. Argh! But I believe it is finally correct! Created entries for the Writers page. Now I just need to solicit their bio stuff!

April 19th: Revised biography template for the third time. Couldn't figure out a way to make it work in conjunction with an image-holder for photos. Finally got it to cooperate today. I hope.

April 16th: Bio page templates updated. Hosts page in The People section updated, Staff page updated, Quick Guide updated with two new areas.

April 14th: Hit counter on-line on Quick Guide page; Contact Us page up with e-mails, postal address and phone #; Episode Commentary Forms page up, though form designs need to be finished; Discussion Forum Guidelines page added with link to Forum; Links page up with roll-over/aniGIF links, page still needs to be filled in and links connected.

April 13th: Have updated long-form Episode Guide pages with titles, links to previous and next episode pages, subject inputs for Comment Forms, etc. Pages are now ready to have data copied over from database.

April 8th: Created long-form pages for each episode and updated the season listings with links to those pages.

April 1st: Revamped layout of names on Dedication page.

March 31st: Discussion Forum and Guest Register pages added. Purchased one year service on each from BraveNet. Also added Quick Guide page on main site page and made it the Home Page, providing links to most common and popular areas, making them readily accessible.

March 21st: Signed up with DreamHost web-hosting service and transferred domain registration, along with all site files, to their servers.

February 23rd: Revised and streamlined template design. Created additional templates for pages with data tables and pages with info tables. Updated Credits page.

January 8th: Added The Screaming Skull and The Case of Mr. Lucraft to the Story Adaptations page.

January 7th: Added The Body-Snatcher to the Story Adaptations page.

January 6th: Added The Tell-Tale Heart and Carmilla to the Story Adaptations page.

December 31st: Corrected mistake made in master page template in DreamWeaver. Revised all pages to use corrected template. Redesigned story adaptation template, revised all adaptation pages to use new template, and rewrote text on Story Adaptations page. Filled out story titles and airdates on Season One, Season Two and Season Three pages. Filled in more info on Credits page.

November 14th: News and Dedication pages added. Added placeholder pages for Contact Us, Staff, Get Involved, Missing Episodes, Series FAQ, and Credits pages. Also changed text on blank pages from "TEXT" to "Coming Soon..."

November 10th: Site Updates page added and set as temporary Home Page.

October 9th: Adaptations page goes on-line; first adaptation: "The Monkey's Paw".

August 10th: Customized LiveJournal layout completed and on-line. LJ design now matches site design.

July 4th: 24th anniversary of Nightfall's premiere. Site framework goes on-line.
