The Durkin-Hayes Paperback Audio release of this story uses an entirely different introduction and exit, with a different Host, music and monologue. The show is referred to as Nightfall Mystery Theater, which is how it was presented when select episodes from the series were run as part of Arts National Presents Friday Night after Nightfall's cancellation. So why was the Arts National edition used for the DH cassette and not the original CBC Radio broadcast version? (Neil Marsh) Archie Hunter's CBC Radio Guide research gives this episode's airdate -- November 7th, 1980 -- as the originally-scheduled broadcast date for "Deadly Developments" (#22). (Neil Marsh) |
